The audio guide describes what is exposed in the Museum fully and it is included in the ticket price. The audio guide is available in the following languages: Italian, English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Polish.

A guided visit is, however, available for those who want it and on reservation (duration: about 60 min)

The visit to the historic centre of Canale d’Agordo is a walk allowing you to discover the most suggestive places of Pope Luciani’s birthplace (duration: 60 min).

The tour includes some stops (the house where Pope Luciani was born, the first Italian Cooperative Dairy, the old ‘Casa delle Regole’ (House of Rules), the main square of 16th century origin and the church of San Giovanni Battista).

GUIDED VISIT TO THE HISTORIC CENTRE OF CANALE D’AGORDO

Cost: €2,00  per person

The parish of Canale d’Agordo offers the following services upon request: a spiritual welcome with short catechesis on Albino Luciani and a moment of guided worship, the Holy Mass, the Eucharistic adoration, the Stations of the Cross and the opportunity to confess.

The Papa Luciani Foundation proposes several tours in the native land of the Pontif of the Dolomites.. It gives you the opportunity for guided tours (exclusively for groups of more than 25 people).

Here are our suggested sites: Monumental Church of San Simone in Vallada Agordina (XII century) with frescoes by Paris Bordon; Augusto Murer Museum in Falcade; Dairy Museum in Fedèr and the fascinating Val di Garés, where you can admire the Comelle waterfalls and the small lake, which is a protected biotope today. The trip to all these sites is to be done autonomously.
